First elected to the House of Commons on November 29, 2010.  Re-Elected May 2, 2011.

I was born in Winnipeg back in 1962 and have called Manitoba my home for all but 10 years.
Since leaving the forces back in 1985 I have lived in Winnipeg and currently
live in Tyndall Park.

I attended school in Manitoba and Saskatchewan
and studied at the University of Winnipeg.

In 1983 I married Cathy my high school sweetheart and we had two children now 19 and 22.

 
 
forces At age 11 I started for my father pumping gas for $1.00 an hour.  I continued working in the automotive industry until 1982 when I became a member of the Canadian Forces.
I was in the Air Force and served for just over three years as an Air Traffic Control Assistant.
 
 
After leaving the military I attended the University of Winnipeg part time while working in two retail stores (The Bay and Caprice Distributers). I was first elected in 1988 and re-elected in the following elections: 1990, 1995, 2003 and 2007. cham
